When will the U.S. is going to withdraw our U.S. troops out in Afghanistan & Iraq?
It’s been 8 yrs that the U.S. is been fighting with the Taliban & Al-Quida terrorist-organization. I’m not sure we are winning or is getting worst. If the British Empire & USSR can’t defeat the war in Afghanistan, what makes you think we can? What makes me mad is that "U.S. intelligence" have failed to capture osama Bin Laden.

As for Iraq, there where never was WMD & Iraq was never a threat. The reason why W. Bush he run for President, is because he just wanted to finish the job of what his father started & he was forced to be a politician.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen for the next 3 yrs from now. If I was the President of the U.S., I would have sign a withdraw on the 2 wars & I would let the Black-waters & U.S. SOF guys stay in Afghanistan to find osama Bin Laden & bring him to justice. The US cant easily withdraw. It will send out the message that its more dangerous to be a friend of the US than an enemy in the region. And it wil tell other countries that the US cant be trusted to finish a job if they are your ally.

Its unfortunate that we are stuck with pretty much unwinable wars which you cant easily withdraw from.

And the huge amounts of civilian deaths caused by both the wars just make western countries even more unpopular in the region. And for once middle eastern countries have a good point.

I just said this elsewhere, but…

If you check out the UN’s reports from before the war in Iraq, you will actually find that they openly discussed the WMD’s that Iraq had at the time. This information can be found in UNSCOM’s Final Compendium on Iraq from 1999. This report is important because it was the report from the last time inspectors were allowed in Iraq before the whole war situation in 2002/2003.

If it is openly acknowledged that Iraq had WMD’s in 1999, do people who say the US "lied" about Iraq having WMD’s also say that the UN "lied" also? Or do they suggest that Iraq decided to destroy their weapons on their own, with no outside pressure and no inspectors in their country at some time between 1999-2003?

if am unable to move into my private rented home due to it been unfit on the day the tenancy starts?
Hi there i will be grateful for any Advise. I went to see the property on monday and they still had some work to do assured me it would b completed before i received the keys so i went and signed the tenancy agreement friday and picked up then key. We called into the property on they way back and nothing had been done other than removing some rubbish. Theres 18 things wrong with the property with some major things. Theres a Gap in the Kitchen window, Front door handle and Hinge are broken you can see day light through it, Living room window handle is missing, Kitchen Cupboards are broken, Bathroom window sil is broken, Kitchen ceiling is bowing, Missing handle on living room door, Stair carpet should have been replaced, hole under sink (mice getting in) hole in wardrobe (mice getting in) Mice infestation, Letter box broken, Electrics down work properly its sparking, havent checked gas as am unable to put any on without a card, light switch broke in main bedroom, shower broke and hole in kitchen and lots more, The tenancy begins on the 14/12/09 but am unable to move in till the repairs have been done so is the current tenancy legal would be grateful for any advise thank you in advance. As long as its written under the agreement that the house would be ready to go upon move in then your safe. Because then your landlord would have breached the agreement. The agreement is for both tenants AND landlords. However your pretty much out of luck otherwise. You have to make sure everything is in writing. Because word of mouth means nothing in the tenancy act.

I have to choose 2 of them, V Final Frontier. The plot of the whole movie sucked and even Roddenberry himself once said something about not liking it. Come on, they went to meet God!!

X Nemesis stank as well, not a great plot and Data got killed which is just wrong! I also am not a fan of Riker/Troi so the marriage also hurt it.

Nemesis:

1) They choose to focus on action more than story.
2) They introduced a off breed Romulan than no where in the history of all the series such a thing existed, which was REALLY lame.
3) Killing off Data served no point to the overall story, such as it was.
4) As a "conclusion" to the Next Gen characters, it was sadly lacking any closure.
5) They treated the Picard/Data relationship above everyone else, and I don’t believe thats what the fans came to see.
6) The whole dune buggy sequence was a bunch of action fluff that served no viable purpose to the overall story, they would have been better served putting more effort into the conflict at the end of the picture.
7) Ramming speed wouldn’t work on a starship and pulling the ships apart without anything to pull against (like gravity) doesn’t work, and that was only one flaw in an underthought battle.
It was one thing to end the series, it was another to flat out kill it, which is what Nemesis did.

normal for a cat and dog to get along?
this really isn’t a question, just thought i’d share, but you can comment.

we have a cat that is 1.5 years old (boy), and he is very shy when it comes to new people. whenever we have company over, he will always hide and never come out until they are gone.

this past saturday, my grandmother came to visit us (staying for a month), and she brought her dog along who is about 13 years old (girl). i think it is part maltese..so nothing big. since our cat is an indoor cat, we kept him inside, and kept the dog inside too, but on a leash 24/7. they spotted each other and seemed curious. they were both lying down, 15 ft from each other, then the dog just jumped up and ran at the cat and the cat took off running under the table. but luckily we stopped the dog before she got to close to the cat. (someone wasn’t holding that leash ) we tried introducing them, by bringing them closer together, the dog did start to growl, the cat was vibrating, but nothing loud. we figured that was enough for one day.

the next day the cat would get closer and closer to the dog, cause he knew the dog was on a leash. sometimes the dog would growl, and the cat seemed calm, just curious. more recently they would just stare at each other, and get closer and closer.

today, they came face to face and no growling, and no hissing, just staring. they were less than 6 inches from each other. today the dog was off the leash and they were both just roaming the house, without bothering each other.

is this normal?? i thought bringing the dog over here was going to be a big problem where we were always watching them. i was never afraid of the cat getting hurt, but the dog. of course we still wont leave them alone in the same room, but this changes a lot. it’s only been 2.5 days they’ve been together and they both seem more comfortable than me! today we were feeding them both lamb, on the floor, and they were eating right next to each other. although the dog did steal some pieces from the cat, and the cat hissed, but i don’t think he would have attacked the dog.

i know if a dog and cat grow up with each other, they they can be best friends, but these animals are older, so this was a huge surprise to all of us.
cool. i always thought the were natural enemies.

Yeah its normal when i was younger i remember getting a new cat she wasn’t a kitten she was an adult, and she lived inside and outside, we were unsure about our dog who was a german Shepperd and very big compared to our cat. They got along straight away, every night our cat would go outside and sleep curled up with our dog, also she had kittens later on and our dog(who was a he) would look after and gently play with the kittens whenever our cat left then it was kind of like babysitting.

so yeah its normal!!!!
