What Do you think of my story idea for a movie?
Well I am going to be playing Ronald McDonald and I will be telling the story of how Barney the Dinosaur was created.
Back in 1992, I was at a party and I decided to go to McDonaldland and get some cheeseburgers, when I got there the McNugget family asked for a ride home, I had been drinking heavily all day but i decided to give them a ride home and on the way we had a terrible accident we were hotboxin my car, i was f*ckin blowed and well i didnt see the cows in the road and the whole McNugget family was eaten alive, there was chicken everywhere. I fled the scene and Kermit the Frog picked me up. He asked me if I wanted to drop some acid with him. So we did and then we had sex, I forgot to pull out and thats how Barney was created. And since that night McDonalds has tried to label me as evil
Um, its not, to be honest, that great for a real movie. I mean, it could do for a childrens movie if you took away the sex and the violence. But if you want to put that in, it would have to be MA, and ideas like ronald mcdonal aren’t that interesting to see. You need to buy a lot of rights from these companies in order to portray them in a movie. And it will be expensive. Maybe you could try a more different approach?

 Lookout, The (2007)
IMDB rating: 7.40
Plot: An admired high school hockey player (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) with a bright future foolishly takes a drive in the night with his girl friend and two other friends with his headlights off with devastating results. The former athlete is left with a brain injury that prevents him from remembering many things for extended periods of time. To compensate, he keeps notes in a small notebook to aid him in remembering what he is to do. He also lives with a blind friend (Jeff Daniels) who aids him. Obviously, with the mental incapacitation, he is unable to have meaningful work. Thus he works as a night cleaning man in a bank. It is there he comes under the scrutiny of a gang planning to rob the bank. The leader (Matthew Goode) befriends him and gets him involved with a young woman (Isla Fisher) who further reels him in. After they get close and after reeling him in with his own failures, the bank plan unfolds. Confused but wanting to escape his current existence, he initially goes along with the scheme. After realizing he is being used, he attempts to stop the robbery, which of course immediately goes awry. Bruce McGill and Alberta Watson also co-star as the young man’s parents, who still search for the person that was there before the tragic crash.

Good idea for a story, yes or no. Contains gay material. Very long.?
It’s at an all-boys school.
It starts with this guy named Xavier, who is obsessed with a boy named Danton. He stalks him, takes his picture without him knowing, leaves a river of anonymous notes in his locker, and watches him through the window at home. Danton is thoroughly creeped out, but does not say anything until he is home alone one day and he notices things that point to someone having been in the house (all his drawers had been looked through but nothing taken, the window open, etc.)
He tells his brother who is the same age as him, and his brother tells their best friend, and the two of them decide they’ll find out who this guy is and stop him. They do find Xavier, beat him to a nub, and threaten his life.
The next day, the entire school knows about what happened. Immediately, some students are concerned for "poor Xavier" who was innocent and victimized, and some students are taken by Luke (Danton’s brother) and William’s ( their friend) action.
When Xavier does not stop talking about his obsession with Danton, some of the other boys kind of join him. This is where it loses some of it’s sexuality, because it becomes more of a principal than a human fixation. Danton represents innocence, sweetness, almost perfection, and the boys, after listening to Xavier, see that and so many other things that they become obsessed with as well for so many reasons, only some of them sexual.
When the obsession becomes stronger and Danton begins finding more notes in his locker, begins noticing people staring at him, he gets scared and more people join Luke and William in trying to stop the "freaks".
It slowly escalates, and finally, there’s an attempt by a few of the obsessives to kidnap Danton. This causes an uproar. The students are suddenly frantic. Those obsessed with Danton (or the idea of having/obtaining Danton) have to show up to his house, tap on the bathroom window while he’s taking showers, etc. Those who are hell-bent on protecting Danton follow him around, buy his lunch, and are all around on the lookout.
It gets extremely violent as they set out to destroy each other, to stop the other "side". Luke gets shot, not killed, just shot in the arm. There are stabbings. Rapes. Three selective deaths throughout the story. All associated with gang violence by the police.
There’s a theme of the adults in the story being very uninvolved.
There is a scene where Xavier is talking about how he never wanted it to be like this, how everybody is greedy and evil and all he ever did was love Danton.
Then there are Luke and William, who were concerned for Danton, and are baffled by those who are also "concerned" because the others seem more interested in hurting "freaks" like the ones obsessed with Danton.
It strays from actual Danton, but never /really/ does because everything is kind of motivated by him.
After Luke got shot, it all started to unravel. More than half the student body was directly involved in this, and the rest knew exactly what was going on. Kids were genuinely afraid to come to school because of all the violence and terror. Of the three deaths, one was of an obsessive, one was of a protector, and one was of this innocent guy who went to school and said the wrong thing.
It ends with the very disturbed Xavier bringing a gun, killing Danton, Luke, wounding William, killing one of the higher-ups of the obsessives, and then killing himself to "end the madness".
At the VERY end, the adults in the story, who had been extremely absent, are seemingly clueless to everything (including the deaths) and are asking the kids to sit down and do some schoolwork. It’s the first time that there’s a scene in the classroom.
I really like the idea. Please please write it and maybe I could read some of it? Please?

Sorry… i am not that patient… try to cut short ur posts from here on… it would be easier for u and for us…
Yesh16 | Feb 08, 2010
I think it could be very interesting, if you wrote it well enough to make it seem plausible. You would also have to do lots of planning with regard to structure, imagery, themes, characters and so on.
I would read it!
Good luck!
Lyster | Feb 08, 2010
not bad.
has a bit of a manga theme to it though,
particularly with it’s revolving mostly around school/home
and having a small group of friends.
the plot seems a little weak here and there, but other than that it looks like a decent story.
for some reason some story’s become so much better when visually depicted.
and so personally i think it would make a better graphic novel than a plain novel.
so maybe you might have some one help you visualize the charters in the story.

Can someone give me a sample itinerary for 2 days in London. Will be flying or taking the train in from Paris?
The train will be faster – takes you straight into St Pancras International in the centre of London. Airports will involve you in long waits for luggage plus a train journey into London, www.eurostar.com
Difficult to make an itinery because I don’t know your interests. London has great museums and art galleries – British Museum, Tate Britain, Tate Modern.National Gallery, Natural History Museum etc,
Buy a good London street map; wander sround Covent Garden (shops, restaurants street entertainers). Take a boat trip on the Thames. Visit Kenwood House (Hampstead Heath – Underground to Golders Green or Archway then 210 bus), a stately home with a wonderful art colection and beautiful landscaped grounds

why do some men not show affection?
ive been in different relationships…this one was great at first..its been 2 yrs and we have argued for a yr about him not loveing on me or huggging me or even telling me he loves me…he says thats the way he is…and if he is such a bad person and im not happy with the way he is …then..do what i need to do…its nuts…hes an ass..but some days im greatful for him…men suck. i hate change and im not leaving.i cant afford to leave..he said he is never getting married either.hes been married twice..and noone is taking all his thing hes worked so hard for..so i gotta just live with him forever..i have alot of anger for him not wanting to get married..see this is why you should never move in with someone before marrage.im not going to burn in hell !!!!!!
You just "settle" for whatever and that is why your not happy with life or the choices of men you choose. This guy was married twice had a lot of baggage but you overlooked that for some reason.
When red flags went off a year ago that was when you should have moved on. I preach on the ills of moving in together all the time. Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free really is true. But women don’t want to believe it. The guy gets complacent and doesn’t want to marry he just wants to use the gal.
Now you must make a move or remain unhappy forever. He won’t change. Work and sock money away somewhere and get out. Make it your goal. good luck
no1advice | Feb 06, 2010
You said that you aren’t leaving him and yet you are mad that he doesn’t want to get married. You can’t change his mind or make anything different. if he’s not willing to work things out with you and give you affection there’s nothing that you can do. especially since you won’t leave him. the fact that he’s been married twice plays a BIG part in him not showing affection to you.

R&P: Remember the Rollins Interview I Promised?
I want to thank those who participated in providing question suggestions the last time I posted my Henry Rollins question. Even though I extended it as long as i could, I decided it was unfair to pick a "best answer" since you all were awesome in providing questions.
So, here I am posting a raw transcript of my interview with Henry Rollins which is yet to be pulished in a couple of weeks. If you see your question answered, pat yourself on the back
Interview with Henry Rollins: February 2, 3:42 p.m. Mountain Time
Q: Lenny Bruce, Brother Theodore, George Carlin: Did any of these outspoken performers play any influential role in your spoken-word technique or philosphy?
A: Bruce and Carlin certainly have given me a lot of courage. When you consider what Bruce got shut down for, he is a true child of the First Ammendment. Carlin made me understand the power of words and I always admired how long he stayed working. I know that I will have not nearly the span of Carlin but people like him, Lenny Bruce and Brother Theodore are so rare.
Q: At what age did you discover your "wayward/insubordinate" self? When did you probably start questioning authoritative society (e.g. Orwell’s "Animal Farm" is what did it for me in fifth grade) …
A: The aforementioned as well as The Clash, The Sex Pistols and my friend Ian MacKaye made me see things differently. I guess all of that started happening in my early teen years.
Q: Do you think Pop Culture has dumbed down our nation?
A: If it has, it can’t be a new phenomenon. Pop music has been with us for decades. I think that corporate media has done Americans a great disservice in that they have deprived America with any consistent degree of transparency. I think we are not as religiously fundamental as other nations in spite of all the attempts to make us so.
Q: It’s every liberal’s dream to tell Ann Coulter to "shut the fuck up". I recall once, in your "Letters From Henry" portion of The Henry Rollins show, you directed a letter to her; how gratifying was that? Ever get a response?
A: It didn’t do anything for me, really. Ms. Coulter is just a professional wrestler who has not nearly the fan base that many would think. I have never heard from her. I think at one point, Fox News barked at me but no one really watches Fox.
Q: I have heard stories that you and Ian MacKaye met while working at a Hagen Daaz? Is this true? If so, how old were you both? What’s one of the earliest memories that crosses your mind?
A: I met Ian behind his mother’s house while riding my bike. This was many years before I was working at the ice cream place. I have known Ian since I was about 12 or 13. I am 49 now. Ian is the first person of my age group that had his own opinion that I was aware of. I was nothing like that.
Q: You are both credited with sparking the "straight edge" movement, so how did you feel about singing songs like "Six Pack" and "TV Party" during your time in Black Flag, even though you don’t drink alcohol or engage in that sort of behavior?"
A: I had nothing to do with straight edge really. The songs you mention are parodies as the lyrics make obviously clear.
Q: "Eye Scream" was probably my favorite of the books that I’ve read, that you wrote. There was something very "beat". Did any of the City Lights Books roster of writers influence you?
A: I tried to read Burroughs and could never complete a book. The Beats never grabbed me besides Ginsberg’s Howl, which I thought was incredible. The thing I wrote in Eye Scream called Everything, is a tribute to Howl.
Q: Being a publisher yourself, have you ever had the chance to get to know Lawrence Ferlinghetti?
A: No.
Q: Jello Biafra, even Hunter S. Thompson, who followed a somewhat punk ethic, attempted politics. Is it within the realm of possibility for you to ever consider, maybe down the line, running for some sort of office to change things directly (or would that go against the grain of what you stand for?)
A: I have not the intellect or stamina to get any traction in that arena. I like being a private citizen, it gives me a lot of lattitude.
Q: When you played the role of AJ Weston in the FX television series "Sons of Anarchy", did you have to "empathize" to a certain degree with the white supremist’s character to play the part convincingly? Did it ever disgust you?
A: No. It’s just work and I do it the best I can. I know that I am acting and that at the end of the day, I get in my car and leave the set.
Q: Do you mind getting killed off in most of the movie roles you do? Any upcoming movie roles?
A: I don’t mind at all. I am grateful for the work. I work for a living. I am not an artist.
Q: Details magazine named you Man of the Year in 1994. Did you hesitate to accept this title? Or was it an honor?
A: It wasn’t a title they give out yearly, it was just something they put on the cover. I was happy for the coverage and hoped it would help my band.
holy crap! haha. it’s only a matter of time before its pulled …. forgot about the Ann Coulter expletive LOL
Thanks everyone for your input

GREAT Qs & As, Ms. Mach!!!
Very impressive, the amount of connections with other artist’s works of art that you thought to connect with Rollins as his possible influences (and anti-influences …from City Lights Books to Jello Biafra, George Carlin to Ann Coulter.
LOL at the Ann Coulter answer… srsly, does anyone you respect intellectually watch Fox?? No.
